From this meeting comes Vellutato, the first wood-roasted blend signed Vezzality Acrylamide Ok meaning whose acrylamide levels are below the acrylamide levels detected by EFSA at the European level, that is below 100 μg/kg.
Acrylamide is a process contaminant that forms during coffee roasting.
Its special wood roasting, through manual processing, makes the coffee full-bodied and aromatic.

Knowledge makes us free! During coffee roasting, a powerful carcinogen is produced: acrylamide. The amount of acrylamide considered tolerable for an adult human can be contained in a cup of coffee.
It is recommended not to exceed 2-3 cups of coffee per day.
